The union relied on its workers educators to implement the program, while in some instances invited external resources persons were hired for specialized topics.

The following outstanding areas will be covered in 2017

  • Northern Province
  • Luapula Province
  • Muchinga Province
  • Western Province
  • Northwestern Province

Please note that these education activities were covering matters of capacity building for union leadership especially at Branch and District levels to improve their understanding of the union structure and functions, collective bargaining, grievance handling, labour laws and other trade union information relevant to their day to day responsibilities. The expected outcomes were that the trade union leaders to becomes more efficient and effective in carrying out their respective functions.
